surprise package

Today I received a surprise package from a lady called Denise Hunley...no explanation, but it must be connected to mail art of some sort. She sent me two very nice badges and a flyer cordially inviting me to make poems paintings songs etc on the theme 'Inspiricy" from the planet of love.....I will have to see what I can do. Lovely sentiment and gesture.

about two weeks ago there was an event at southsea, where artist who had met through flickr had joined a 'free art' group and an exhibition was set up on Southsea pier...I had sent two peices to put up...it was a great success and the resulting photos showed lots of very happy people.
apiece in the local press, and the ladys that chose my work :-)

here is a photo of my submission for the 'Thumb' exhibition...I know its mine, but I like it, it makes me smile :-)
